We're looking for a smart, savvy and creative person to join our team to help us develop and deliver a cloud-based influencer campaign management service. Our ideal candidate will understand the complexity of delivering to global customers and have and a good understanding of identity management, authentication, security, and cloud scaling.

As a full stack PHP developer, you will closely with other members of our team, ensuring focus on infrastructure, security and operations. This is a high visibility position and an ideal role for someone who enjoys having a broad understanding of the technologies used in our end to end value chain.

• Assist the team with technical guidance in software design and development activities
• Investigate and implement code fixes to reduce issues in the entire stack, this includes production issues
• Deep analysis of the code to understand issues in PHP, MVC architecture
• Design, implement, and improve existing tools to help diagnose problems in order to reduce time to resolution
• Assist in maintenance and upgrades of existing different versions of the system
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements
• Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products
• Analyse and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion
• Develop most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements
• Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines
• Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities
• Attend team meetings to communicate project status and discuss about new ideas and any issues
• Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity
• Prepare test cases, plans and procedures

• At least 5 years of commercial software development experience in a variety of languages including PHP
• Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages
• Experience with SaaS applications in the cloud, AWS preferably
• Database experience, including relational and non-relational databases
• Comfort context switching as quickly as the situation demands
• Flexibility to take on a myriad of assignments across several project areas
• Passion for product and customer, not just for code
• Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies, languages, and frameworks
• Strong team player that wants to win together
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages
• Possess strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, especially in PHP
• Proficient with database design, optimization, and tuning in MySQL
• Experience in design patterns, unit testing, automation techniques
• Exposure to Amazon Web Services
• Experience in PHP frameworks such as Slim, Yii, Phalcon, Laravel, or proven ability to learn on the job
